Web Content Writer
Potential Responsibilities
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies).
- Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.
- Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies.
- Edit and polish existing content to improve readability.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
- Promote content on social media.
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone).
- Update website content as needed.
Suggested Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
- Exceptional command of written English language and familiarity with various writing styles; strong research skills; ability to write informative and engaging content.
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, SEO Writer, Web Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles.
- Experience doing research using multiple sources and familiarity with web publications.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress), WordPress, SEO, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook.
- Competent in SEO, Copywriting, Content writing, Article writing, Writing, English, Blogging, Research, Journalism, Marketing, Communication.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
