WordPress Developer
Potential Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to discuss website design and function.
- Design and build the website front-end.
- Create the website architecture.
- Design and manage the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Generate WordPress themes and plugins.
- Conduct website performance tests.
- Troubleshoot content issues.
- Conduct WordPress training with the client.
- Monitor the performance of the live website.
Suggested Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Solid HTML / CSS / PHP / jQuery, etc development skills and understanding of web standards and accessibility.
- Experience as a front-end developer or with digital design/marketing agencies; strong background in WordPress web development.
- Skilled in WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, Sketch, Woo Commerce, Google Analytics, Divi Theme, GIT, Elementor.
- Competent in WordPress Development, HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, SEO, UX/UI Design.
- Ability to project manage and good communication skills.
