Potential Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to discuss website design and function. 
  • Design and build the website front-end. 
  • Create the website architecture. 
  • Design and manage the website back-end including database and server integration.
  • Generate WordPress themes and plugins. 
  • Conduct website performance tests. 
  • Troubleshoot content issues. 
  • Conduct WordPress training with the client. 
  • Monitor the performance of the live website.

Suggested Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field. 
  • Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer. 
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN. 
  • Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug. 
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics. 
  • Solid HTML / CSS / PHP / jQuery, etc development skills and understanding of web standards and accessibility. 
  • Experience as a front-end developer or with digital design/marketing agencies; strong background in WordPress web development.
  • Skilled in WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, Sketch, Woo Commerce, Google Analytics, Divi Theme, GIT, Elementor. 
  • Competent in WordPress Development, HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, SEO, UX/UI Design. 
  • Ability to project manage and good communication skills.
